The Cherry Festival is a lot of fun. Besides all the great food there are pit-spitting & pie eating contests, parade, fair rides, music, fireworks and more! It's the most popular week of the year up here!
Biking is the popular mode of transportation around town. If you have bikes, bring 'em! If you are interested in renting you can check out Brick Wheels. It's located only about a 1/2 mile from our house. There are really nice bike trails around town and along the coast - TART trails.
I would recommend trying to catch one of the free or 25 cent movies at the Cherry Classic Film Series at the State St. Theater downtown. It is really one of the nicest theaters I have ever been in - and you can't beat free! They will have a selection of free classic films playing in July.
